Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen distinguished himself from the start with dramatic avant-garde shows, ground-breaking collections and collaborations such as PUMA McQueen trainers. The Savile Row-trained British designer graduated from Central St Martins in 1995 and went on to work as head designer at Givenchy before launching his eponymous label in 2001. Since his tragic death in 2010, McQueen's right-hand woman, Sarah Burton, has re-envisaged his fantastical aesthetic with a softer, more organic touch.
